Cable Specification: 33KV 3 Core Mains cable is manufactured to British Standard BS7835 and available in sizes 95mm and 185mm. The cable features compacted circular stranded annealed copper conductor, extruded semi-conductive conductor screen, XLPE insulated, extruded strippable semi-conductive insulation screen helically overlapped copper tape metallic screen, extruded low smoke zero halogen(LSZH) bedding, galvanised steel wire armour, extruded low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) sheath - Red. 19000/33000 volts grade to BS7835. Due to poor U.V resistant qualities red outer sheath cables are not recommended for outdoor installation.

Purpose:
33KV XLPE insulated power cable is suitable for power networks, underground and in cable ducting. The British Standard cable features a low smoke and zero halogen bedding, low smoke and zero halogen red sheath and a galvanised steel wire armour. It also features an extruded semi-conductive conductor screen and an extruded strippable semi-conductive insulation screen. Please note: Due to poor UV resistant qualities, red outer sheath cables are not recommended for outdoor installation.
